Overview B Block included offices known as the Testery, after the man in charge Ralph Tester, which were set up to exploit breakthroughs into the Lorenz cipher. From about 1953, B Block was part of a Teacher Training College. In 1977 the building had been taken over by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA). Following the departure of the CAA from the site in 1993 the building became the responsibility of Bletchley Park Trust. B Block was refurbished in 2004 and on 10th June it was opened by HRH The Duke of Kent as 'The Bletchley Park Story'. The reception and shop moved to the restored C Block in 2014. The Bombe Rebuild moved out of B Block to H Block [TNMoC] in 2018. Grade II Listing B Block was Grade II listed on 19th November 2004.
