Connected-Earth
Partner Museums and Vehicle Collections
|
|
BT's
Connected-Earth project was officially launched in April
2002. It featured a virtual collection of knowledge and
artifacts on the web at www.connected-earth.com as well as a number of real
'partner museums' throughout the UK, overseen by BT
Heritage.
BT gradually stepped back from the project, and in late 2019
the connected-earth website was discontinued. The partner
museums continue to look after and grow the
telecommunications collections at varying locations in the
UK.
