Station X was the code name for the radio room which was housed in the turreted water tower. Below is the Victorian tradesman's entrance.

Introduction

During the war, Bletchley Park was a secret destination for despatch riders in the night, bringing messages from Y-Stations.

On guard!
Incoming despatch riders would be checked at the back gate by the sentry who occupied the brick shelter opposite.
