letters collected from the Tower were franked "Posted at the
Post Office Tower".

The Post Office Tower 3d stamp (1965)-Abbott, printed by
Harrison & Sons Ltd. Clive Abbott born 1933 - He won a
British Post Office design competition for this stamp - the
first English stamp to carry the name of the artist and
printer.
