Your avid reporter (for Light Straw) called into the Museum on Saturday 22nd October 2005. The details recorded herein are a personal opinion as experienced at the time of writing. Prospective visitors to the Museum are advised to make their own enquiries as to opening times, which exhibitions are taking place, and to the availability of items in the shop, all of which may be subject to change.
The Museum has a strong focus on the fun side of learning and particularly encourages the young to participate in specially organised events. A flyer on the counter in the spacious foyer gave details of just one of the many activities...

Make a model of the BT tower or have a go at designing your own special
tower.

On one of the lower level galleries, a lady in 17th century attire was telling
the story of the Great Fire of London and the audience of families with their
children were joining in and making the history come alive!
