Mondial
IRS
Mondial IRS was the International Repeater Station on the main part of two floors.

Every circuit into and out of Mondial passed through the IRS. A total of 38,980 circuits capacity was available in 1984. Most of the audio transmission equipment was supplied by STC. Channel translation equipment for inbound and outbound signalling was delivered by Plessey. FDM and TDM transmission equipments were supplied by GEC.
