In preservation, the Travelling Post Offices on The Nene Valley Railway turn back postal history with an operational pick-up and set-down of mail bags.

The Mail Vans
These are all BR (British Rail) Mark I coaches.
Post Office Tender 80402 NTA
POT (Post Office Tender) - Built in Wolverton 1959

80402 NTA - A stowage van/tender for storage of mail bags. The BPOT includes a brake compartment to enable the train to run without a separate guards van.

N is for Non-Passenger Carrying Coaching Stock.
T is for Tender.
A is for Air brakes fitted.
