Introduced in May 1953, the Morris-Commercial LC5 was the last of the LC series of mail vans.

In the General Post Office (GPO) the Morris LC5 was used as a 240 cubic feet mailvan and also as a 1-ton telephone utility.

In March 2014, this mail van was donated to Maltapost to be exhibited at the Malta Postal Museum in Valletta.
