Overview

Pictured above is one of the two gates which divide the land within the Bletchley Park Trust (BPT) into a north/south split.

Is BPT at war with TNMoC (The National Museum of Computing)? The gated pedestrian areas (from mid-2014) restrict easy movement between the two museums and spoil what otherwise could be a more inclusive visitor experience. However, such is the attraction of each museum that a single afternoon is not enough time to fully appreciate all that is on offer.

Suffice to say that the issues involved are complex and date back to 1994 and relate to the funding of each museum and the role each wants to play in telling the Bletchley Park 'story'. Both BPT and TNMoC are worthy of full support and it is hoped that shared ticketing may eventually allow free movement of pedestrians across the Park.
