Branding In October 2013, Westhill Communications and Stewart Signs devised a new look livery for Openreach to mark the 'Smart TV revolution' and raise awareness of TV services delivered by fibre Broadband, either FTTP or FTTC. This coincided with the delivery of 400 Fiat Doblo Maxi vans to the Openreach Fleet. Notes: FTTP is Broadband delivered via Fibre To The Premises. The campaign, directed at all Service Providers and customers, is to promote interactive HDTV (High Definition TV), Video on Demand (VOD) and TV catch-up services (e.g. YouView). Rob Lee, Director of Marketing and Communications, for Openreach: "Openreach vans travel, on average, around 9000 miles per year, so they really are the perfect way for us to communicate with the whole nation. In July 2014, Openreach took
delivery of an additional 1,800 Doblo vans. Duncan Webb, Commercial
Director at BT: Fleet: "These vehicles have been deployed to front-line engineers installing fibre broadband into homes and businesses across the UK. With a fleet of hard-working vehicles of this size it was important to have the right vehicles, which we have in the FIAT Dobló Cargo Maxi." New Doblos registered WP64 xxx are being delivered during 2015. |
