Overview

In 2015 the diversity of vehicles in the BT Fleet is prevalent, as new deliveries feature a variety of models and manufacturers.

New are Iveco vans with Versalift.
The Fiat models continue with Doblos the main small van supplemented by Ford Fiestas and Fiat Fiorinos.
The latest Ford Transit Custom (2012 model) and the new Vauxhall Vivaro (2014 model) both feature heavily for medium vans.
Fiat Ducatos Maxis (larger vans).
Also noted are Renault Masters and Trafics.

In Detail

The original 2006 'cords or ribbons' logo has been superseded by a more generic mixing of colours as first seen on the 'super-fast fibre' vans. The rear of all vans have red and yellow chevrons to comply with the latest traffic regulations for vehicles which need to stop and carry out work on or close to the highway.

Small Vans

The Ford Fiesta 300 kg is back in the Fleet after a gap of almost ten years. New are the Fiat Fiorinos. Fiat Doblos appear to be displacing Ford Combos for new work across the Fleet.

Medium Vans

The Ford Transit Custom 310 (750 kg) began deliveries in August 2014. Also a batch of 2,463 of the new Vauxhall Vivaro 2900 with an updated 1.6l diesel engine.

Large Vans

For 1000 kg (1 tonne) utilities the long wheelbase Ford Transit Custom and Fiat Ducato Maxi are being supplied.
