"History of BT Local Business "The birth of the BT Local Business network came about through customer demand. We have some 1.2 million small business customers in the UK and they were telling us that they preferred to deal with other SMEs who understood their needs. We are therefore complementing our existing sales force with a network of over 80 partners. Each will exclusively sell the entire BT portfolio backed by a huge resource of expertise, but in an accessible, friendly format which offers business customers a single, local point of contact." What is a BT Local Business? "Each BT Local Business is an independent company, licensed to trade under the BT Local Business sub-brand. They have the full backing and support of the BT organisation and each is run by experienced sales people, many of them originally from within BT. Every BT Local Business has an exclusive territory in which it acts as the primary sales interface, focussing on selling to the 1-50 employee sector. Teams of dedicated and enthusiastic sales and support staff have been recruited and trained in all the key BT products and services. They are there to respond rapidly to your requests, helping you to find the most efficient and cost-effective ways of managing your business communications."
