The 'Top of the Tower' restaurant, leased to Butlins, could seat 120 diners on the 11 feet wide revolving section which formed part of the 34th floor. A complete revolution took 22 minutes.

Dining in style at the Tower was the intention of Butlin's Limited who provided the 'high cuisine' throughout the period of the lease which ran from 1966 until final closure in 1980. 
The 35th Floor Cocktail Bar

Patrons arrive at the Cocktail Bar level (35), from which a short flight of stairs leads down to the restaurant.


The seating capacity of the Dining Room is 130, and that of the Cocktail Bar 50; these are situated on the 34th and 35th floors of the G.P.O. Tower, Maple Street, London, W.1.
