Dial the World
A satisfying, well paid job, with a bright future.

"A job as an international telephonist is satisfying and varied as well as being worthwhile and responsible. It involves helping people to make telephone calls to and from almost every part of the world. You could also connect calls between countries such as Zambia and the USSR, Canada and Sudan, Gambia and Sri Lanka. The United KIngdom is one of the few countries with a direct telephone link with China.

The international telephone system is vital to world communications. It is expanding rapidly and will continue to do so for many years to come. So there is a growing need for telephonists, including those who speak French."
